You step into a place that breathes entrepreneurship. As a student, you walk among the owners of startups and scale-ups. They are present every day, working on their businesses. You attend your classes here, have lunch with other entrepreneurs, and then head to the Incubator to work on your own business.

Once all steps are complete, your tuition for the first academic year will be €13,500 instead of €15,000.

Over a course of four years at Unknown University of Applied Sciences, you'll attend weekly workshops, receive personalized coaching, and team mentoring for your business projects. Apply these lessons immediately to your business. Here’s an overview of the modules.

Year 1: Foundations

Build your entrepreneurial mindset and learn the fundamentals of innovation.

You will get a clear business idea and first customer validation.

You will develop a set of business ideas that truly reflect your personal strengths, values, and purpose as a founder.

You will get clarity on my personal drivers and develop entrepreneurial ideas that make a meaningful impact.

You will learn how to spot trends, societal shifts, and emerging opportunities to future-proof my business.

You will build a solid financial and legal foundation, including bookkeeping, cash flow management, and awareness of key legal risks.

You will get the skills to conduct research, gather insights, and use evidence to make smarter business decisions.

You will develop the ability to collect, analyze, and validate customer insights to inform data-driven decisions.

You will develop the skills to develop innovative, human-centered solutions for real-world business challenges.

Year 2: Building

Develop practical skills to build and validate your business concepts.

You will develop experiments that validate your assumptions and get to a market-ready solution.

You will get increased resilience and personal effectiveness to thrive in uncertain and high-pressure situations.

You will learn how to develop an innovative and validated business model that strengthens product–market fit and future-proofs your venture.

You will develop a strategic and emotionally resonant brand identity captured in a professional brand book.

You will create a practical playbook to prepare your startup for sustainable growth and scaling.

You will grow your cultural intelligence and communication skills to succeed in diverse, international teams.

You will get the confidence and tools to deliver a compelling pitch that convinces investors, partners, and customers.

You will get the documents, pitch deck, and skills needed to secure investment for your venture.

Year 4: Leadership

Become a confident leader ready to take on global entrepreneurial challenges.

You will get practical leadership skills and strategies to improve team performance.

You will get the ability to analyze complex systems, identify leverage points, and propose solutions for positive impact.

You will grow the ability to design products and services that align with customer behaviour and preferences.

You will develop the skills to recruit, manage, and develop my team effectively, including handling challenging HR decisions.

You will get the knowledge and tools to compare markets and develop a strategy to scale internationally.

You will grow the confidence and plan to take my entrepreneurial skills to the next level, ready for your final project.

Our program is designed for real founders. You’ll graduate with more than just a degree—you’ll graduate with a business that’s already making an impact.

Entry requirements

  • (DUTCH) HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

    If you hold a Dutch HAVO or VWO diploma, you are directly admissible to our Bachelor of Science program, regardless of your study profile.


    What we need from you:

    • Copy of your passport
    • Motivation letter & CV/resume
    • High school diploma and/or other education
    • Transcript of grades

    Dutch HAVO or VWO graduates are exempt from English tests.


     If this applies to you, take the next step and apply for the Bachelor of Science through our application form.


    Students with a high school diploma are admissible to our Bachelor of Science program. 

  • INTERNATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

    If you have completed a high school diploma abroad, you are often admissible if your diploma qualifies you for higher education in your home country. Because international diplomas vary, we manually check if yours meets our requirements.

  • DUTCH MBO STUDENTS – LEVEL 4 (BUSINESS-RELATED)

    If you hold a Dutch MBO 4 diploma in a business-related field, you are directly admissible to the program.

    • MBO diploma and transcripts
    • High school diploma and/or other education (if available)
    • Transcript of grades
    • Proof of English proficiency

  • TUITION FEE & APPLICATION DEADLINES

    EU / NL Students

    • €15,000 per year
    • Monthly installments available via direct debit

    Non-EU Students

    • €15,000 per year
    • Upfront payment required due to the visa application process
    • Additional visa costs: €700

    Application Deadlines

    Our Bachelor of Science program starts once a year in the first week of September.

    We do not have a fixed application deadline, but class capacity is limited.


      We strongly advise applying early to secure your spot.

  • BACHELOR STUDENTS AT OTHER UNIVERSITIES

    If you are currently studying at another Dutch or international university, it is often possible to transfer into our Bachelor of Science in Innovation & Entrepreneurship.


    If your current program is business-related, some of your study points (ECTS) may be transferred. This could shorten the duration of your studies at Unknown University.


    How the transfer process works

    1. Contact our admissions team to discuss your situation.
    2. Send us your curriculum and module guides from your current program. Based on this, we can give you an initial indication of which modules or credits may be transferred.
    3. Apply to Unknown University.
    4. Once admitted, you provide your official transcripts from your current university
    5. Our exam board reviews your transcripts and approves any exemptions.
    6. Together with you, we create a personalized study schedule.

  • 21+ STUDENTS / OTHER SITUATIONS

    If you are over 21 and do not have a high school diploma, you can still join our Bachelor of Science in Innovation & Entrepreneurship by passing our 21+ test.


    The 21+ admission process includes:

    • An online test
    • An interview

    What we need from you:

    • Copy of your passport
    • Motivation letter & CV/resume
    • Any diploma(s) you may have obtained
    • Transcript of grades (if available)
    • Proof of English proficiency (IELTS 6.0+, Cambridge B2+, or equivalent)

  • ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS

    English proficiency requirements for Bachelor applicants:

    • IELTS: Academic, minimum overall band score of 6.0
    • Cambridge: B2 First (General or Business Vantage) with a score ≥ 169
    • TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 60
    • LanguageCert: Academic with a score ≥ 65


    Some international diplomas qualify for an exemption on English proficiency — contact us to find out.

  • VISA APPLICATION

    To support our students in their transition to the Netherlands, Unknown University of Applied Sciences arranges the study visa for those who need one.


    We will start the visa application procedure once:

    1. You have been unconditionally admitted, and
    2. The first year’s tuition fees have been paid.
